AURORA, IL (April 13, 2007) Michael Jordan Motorsports Suzuki's Aaron Yates, a four-time AMA national champion, will appear on the radio show SpeedFreaks, on Sunday, April 15, 2007. SpeedFreaks, the top motorsports radio show in the country, broadcasts live on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Channel 122 on Sunday nights from 10:00 p.m. to Midnight (EDT)/7:00 -9:00 p.m. (PDT). True Yates fans know just how excited Aaron is about appearing on SpeedFreaks to discuss his motorcycle racing career and his off-track hobby of Mopar high performance machinery. Aaron will be interviewed via telephone during the first hour of the show. Yates, who began riding at the age of five, has had a very successful motorcycle racing career. He has won four championships in four separate classes of racing: 2005 AMA Superstock, 2002 AMA 600 Supersport series, 1996 AMA 750cc Supersport and 1995 AMA SuperTeams series. In 2003, Aaron narrowly missed a fifth title in the AMA Superbike, where he placed second in overall points for the season. In 2007, Aaron will continue to battle for the elusive AMA Superbike Championship title on his Suzuki GSX-R1000 as a member of the Michael Jordan Motorsports Suzuki team. The Jordan Suzuki team heads to Birmingham, Alabama for the second and third rounds in the AMA series championship April 20-22, 2007.
