Monterey, CA (September 15, 2007) - The season finale of the AMA Superbike championship is underway at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.  First to hit the track for morning practice was Superstock where Aaron Yates and Jake Holden led the top-two slots.  At one point Holden led his teammate around the 2.238 mile road course.  Superstock qualifying for Sunday's 17 lap race takes today place at 1:30pm PDT.

Yates ended the session with the fastest time of 1:25.779 followed by Holden at 1:25.875. 

Both Jordan Suzuki riders will also participate in the mid-morning practice session for Superbike before qualifying for the race grid this afternoon.
