Alton, VA (August 18, 2007) - Aaron Yates ended his Saturday afternoon with an epic race battle for third place in race one of the Suzuki BIg Kahuna Nationals Superbike doubleheader at Virginia International Raceway. 

Yates took an early lead in the 28 lap event and fought the remainder of the race for third place with Jamie Hacking.  After swapping for position several times between the two riders, eventually Hacking was able to pass Yates on lap 27 and held it til the checkered flag.  It was an incredible race for the riders and fans alike.

Aaron and Jake will take to the track today at 1:00pm EDT for the AMA Superstock race and again at 3:00pm EDT for race two of the AMA Superbike doubleheader.
