August 18, 2007 - Jake Holden and Aaron Yates have just completed their qualifying session for the AMA Superstock race at VIR.  Holden will start from fifth place in row two and his teammate Aaron Yates will start from the front row in third position.

August 18, 2007 - Georgia rider Aaron Yates qualified his Suzuki GSX-R1000 for the front row in the AMA Superbike doubleheader at Virginia International Raceway.   He'll start both races from third, behind two other Suzukis.  The first of two races is today at 3:50pm EDT.

Results from AMA Superbike Provisional qualifying session one of two provided by www.amasuperbike.com. 

On Saturday, both Jordan Suzuki riders will take to Virginia International Raceway for the second and final qualifying session for AMA Superbike racing action.

August 17, 2007 - Aaron Yates and Jake Holden have just completed the first AMA Superbike practice session of the race weekend at VIR.   Yates who rode a time of 1:26.429 was fourth fastest in the practice ahead of factory Kawasaki, Yamaha and Honda.  Teammate Holden rounded out the top-ten with a practice time of 1:27.447 which was two-tenths faster than his AMA Superstock* practice session earlier in the day.  The fastest time of the practice was 1:25.239 held by fellow Suzuki rider Mat Mladin.

Both Jordan Suzuki riders will take to the track again this afternoon for the first (provisional) of two AMA Superbike qualifying sessions.  Check back later for results of qualifying.
